Why do I need this item?

Can't do without

I have been using one of these for the past 3 years and couldn't do without, as it stops the threads from splitting and makes a tidy job to finish the thread. this is my second one, as changing the battery has loosened the end and have had to tap it down, so hence a new one. I just love this tool.

Marginal Product

I was looking for an easier method than using scissors to trim my threads. The Zap Ii Thread Burner isn’t it, don’t waste your money, a sharp small pair of good scissors would be money better spent.

Q: Can you use it on larger things like embroidery thread or paracord?

A: You can probably use it on embroidery thread but paracord is too thick and not recommended.
