1) Take two of the 1-1/2" head pins and cut them down to 3/4". Take two more of the 1-1/2" and cut them down to 1". Take two more of the 1-1/2" head pins and cut them down to 1-1/4". After this, you should have two more 1-1/2" head pins and the 2" head pins.

2) Pick up one of the 3/4" head pins and thread on a 4mm crystal round. Measure in 7mm from the tip of the head pin and bend the wire to begin making your simple loop. You will measure out 7mm from the tip of each of the headpins so that your loops are consistent in size. Repeat for the other 3/4" head pin and then set both of these aside.

3) Pick up one of the 1" head pins and thread on a 4mm stardust bead. You'll measure in 7mm from the head pin tip and make a simple loop. Repeat with the other 1" head pin and then set both aside.

3) Pick up one of the 1-1/4" head pins and thread on a 6mm crystal round. Measure in 7mm from the head pin tip and make a simple loop. Repeat with the other 1-1/4" head pin and then set both aside.

4) Pick up one of the 1-1/2" head pins and thread on a 6mm stardust bead. Measure in 7mm from the head pin tip and make a simple loop.

5) Pick up one of the 2" head pins and thread on another 6mm crystal round. As before, measure in 7mm and make a simple loop. Repeat this same step for the last head pin and crystal round bead.

6) Open the loop at the base of one of the earwires. Starting with one of the 3/4" head pins, thread one of each size head pin and then close the loop at the base of the ear wire. Repeat this step with the other ear wire and the remaining head pins.

7) You can decide to leave the head pins straight, or take your thumb and forefinger and gently put a bend in the longer head pins. Adjust to your liking and you're done.
