How to Make a Knot

Overhand Knot

Step One

Make a loop with the thread.

Step Two

Bring one end of the thread under, then through the loop

Step Three

Pull to tighten.

Square Knot (Granny Knot)

Step One

Bring left hand thread over the right-hand cord and around.

Step Two

Cross right over left and go through the loop.

Step Three

Pull the knot snug.
