This is a great finishing tool for removing sharp edges left over from cutting or sawing Wire. Just apply the attached Cup Bur to the end of the Wire, apply a little pressure, turn the Wire Rounder a few times, and you're done! Works great on Silver, Gold, Copper and almost any other Wire.

Good for finishing.

Depending on the wire hardness you're using and depending on the wire cutters this is definitely a tool to own for a fast smoothing on the end of a wire. I'm a novice in regards to this industry so maybe I've got some tricks to learn still but I do like this to finish rounding off wire and making it smooth fast. :)

Perfect little tool

Half hard Sterling wire round

Best purchase of wire yet. Neatly packaged and coiled properly. I don’t like when wire is spooled because it makes it hard to straighten out. No visible tarnish so you know it hasn’t been mishandled.

It seemed like it was a simple tool.

The wood handle is very comfortable to hold. I tried three different gages of gold wire and couldn’t get the rounder to smooth any of them. Not sure what I’m doing wrong. The instructions are so simple.

Q: Can the cup bur be replaced in the handle or is this considered disposable? How long does the bit last under normal wire rounding use?

A: The cup can not be detached and is made of steel and you can get years of use from it.
