Volcano Lava Beads

Also referred to as Volcanic Rock or Lava Stone, this technically isn't a gemstone at all, but rather the direct result of magma that has cooled into an igneous rock called Basalt. Lava rocks will always have an organically occurring porous appearance that is somewhat rough to the touch as well as being lightweight. Much like it's volcanic "cousin" Obsidian, Lava Rock or Volcanic Rock can be found wherever volcanic activity has occurred and is said to be a wonderful grounding "stone", that helps with the removal of negative energy and the regulation of emotions.
