Citrine is a type of quartz that resembles topaz quartz, but it is incorrect to call it so. It is very available and durable and is sometimes made by heating Amethyst from its characteristic purple-violet color to the yellow color of Citrine. Citrine itself can be anywhere from yellow to gold, to an orange-brown.

Most Citrine is from Brazil, and is thought to give protection from snake venom and evil thoughts. While Citrine may be durable, it is still advised to keep it from heat and intense light.

SO happy I found these. They are exactly as pictured and the 8mm size at the price offered here is extremely competitive. Clarity, color and quality of these beads are perfect for creating bracelets and necklaces. Able to weave for unique designs too with the predrilled holes.
