Great quality and color!! These have the transparency you expect to find in natural Carnelian with the perfect color of the yellow/orange/red tones from the gem. These are beautiful additions to any piece and the price is very cost effective, making this my go to place for sourcing carnelian gemstone beads. Absolutely love working with these and you get what is pictured although some stones have the natural variances and are a bit more transparent than other, but that is what you want from natural Carnelian. Carnelian is associated with the base chakra and has the ability to cleanse other stones/crystals while being known to ground one in the present and restore vitality and creativity. It is also commonly used to help with infertility, low back problems, arthritis, neuralagia and other ailments like depression (even chronic or longterm depression). Love this stone and was very pleased with what I received.

I've used these in several designs to set off larger beads in various shades of brown, in materials including stone, wood, tagua, etc. They add a beautiful "pop" of color, while still being in the same color family.
