Azurite is a deep blue colored mineral that often grows with malachite. This gemstone is unstable in air and over time, air will weather the azurite, causing it's surface to chemically change to malachite. Azurite is found in Greece, Russia, the Black Forrest in Germany and in various locations in Australia, China, England, Mexico and the United States.

The real color is very close to the real bead

Azurite is sort of on the rare side, it brings blues, green together but not quiet the same. There are lots of imitations on the marker and people seem to do better with those that the more rare bead that is pretty expensive. This is wonderful to work with and with the correct pieces you charm someone and make them envious to what you have
