Q: I have a 3/4 oz silver coin that I will be hanging on a sterling silver snake rope chain. Will this pinch bail hold? Should I use a loop bail and a jump ring? I don't want to chance loosing my coin as it is a gift.

A: It is a strong and sturdy bail. As long as the prongs are squeezed close enough together so that the coin doesn't slip out it will be a good choice for your application.
