These barrel beads have 4x2mm holes large enough to accomodate large stringing materials like round cords, suede lace, and ribbons. They are crimpable! To hold materials in place use a hammer and block, tapping gently until hold is achieved, or nylon jawed pliers! These large barrel shape beads from TierraCast feature an oblong hole that looks great when used as a spacer strung along leather cord or ribbon. The hole can accommodate two passes of a 2mm cord.
Made in the USA from high-quality lead-free pewter, this barrel bead is plated with brass oxide color which is then sealed with a clear lacquer to prevent tarnish. An antique wash is then applied to highlight the uneven, nugget-style surface of the bead.
