The ubiquitous heishi daisy spacer adds brightness and interest as individual accents, or strung together for texture and impact. Made by TierraCast, this bead is made in the USA, crafted with high quality, lead-free pewter. The gold plated finish is created with a bath of 22k gold formulated to an 18k gold color with a medium luster finish, and an antique wash highlighting the intriciate details along the beaded edge.
While heishi (pronounced "hee shee") beads historically were carved from wood or shell, modern heishi beads typically refer to any small, disc shaped beads and are commonly made from pewter or base metal.
