Just what I needed

I had a local jeweler make tie tacks from work award pins that my parents had received. These will be given to great grandchildren. The jeweler did not have access to chained clutches through their suppliers. These work well and look great. Do check to see what size the pin is on your tack and be sure the clutch fits that size pin. I did not know there were different pin sizes. Mine were 1.1mm

Q: This may be a silly question. I have a lapel pin that I'd like to wear as a tie tack. Would I be able to just stick the lapel pin into this?

A: Most lapel pins can be worn as tie tacks as well, and this clutch should work with it too.
