Easy to work with
I am a relative novice working with jewellery wire but this was easy to work with and pretty. I made several pairs of earrings and this wire was a comfort diameter for that purpose.

what does dead-soft vs half-hard mean? thanks

A:
Dead soft means very little temper in the wire. It bends easily without resistance. Half Hard has a little temper and is does not bend as easily. It also retains its shape more than dead soft.

Is this solid silver without brass or other metal core?

A:
Sterling Silver is 92.5% silver with other metals mixed together, there is no 'core' to the wire, it is all silver wire.

Which for wire rings: dead-soft or half-hard. The rings would have curved details so the wire would need to be malleable enough to bend but durable enough to hold its shape. Which do you recommend?

This 20 gauge dead soft wire is what we have used in the past to make rings.
