This ring has SPRING!

I have purchased these all purpose clasps from many vendors but I come back to Jewelry Supply because of the quality. No matter how hard you pull the trigger and how many times you open and close . The spring remains tight and closes every time.

Q: Can I put this in the middle of a chain so I can change charms on necklaces ?

A: If you are intending on opening the clasp to put it on the chain the space of the opening is 1mm so the chain would need to be less than a millimeter thick.
