This is a much needed tool which opens any size split rings quickly and easily. Just slip the angled jaw between the overlapping split ring and squeeze. The split ring pops open, ready to be put on chains, bracelets, and more.

Tool needed for split ring project

This tool makes it so much easier to handle split ring application. I would never get this project done without it.

Fingernail saver

Open the pliers, and hold them perpendicular to a split ring, with the straight arm inside the ring. Close the pliers, and the curved arm neatly goes between the two sides of the ring, opening it and holding it open. When you remove the pliers, the ring snaps back. No more broken fingernails!

Excellent Pliers that Solve the Issue of Opening Split rings

I frequently use split rings and struggle to get them in place! I really like these pliers as they have such a nice point which opens the ring quickly. Save your finger nails and stop the frustration of split rings.

Q: Do you have a video to show how this tool is used? I do NOT make a lot of jewelry. But once in a while, I modify what I have, by using an o ring to add something on a bracelet. I tear my fingernails up, trying to open the o ring wide enough to add my charm to it. I know there's got to be a better way. HELP!
