Sterling Silver Split Rings are perhaps the most versatile Connector made. They provide more strength than Jump Rings, and do not require Soldering to attach. Split Rings operate just like Key Rings, by forming a continuous circle that will not come open until you want them to.

Perfect Sterling Split Ring
These are awesome! I love them, but I do find it to be a bit pricey since Silver Prices are so low right now. I'm looking at investing in a jump ring creator and some sterling wire and making my own.
