Snap and Set Earrings are easy to use "self setting" mountings. Just place your Stone face down on a wood or hard rubber surface, and press the Earring straight down. When you hear the "snap", your Earring is ready to wear! Snap and Set works great on Natural Stones and Cubic Zirconia, but is not recommended for use with Swarovski Stones.

Q: will 8mm snap and wear fit 8.15 x 4.16 mm stone?

A: I am sorry it won't fit an oval stone. It will only fit a round 8mm stone.

Q: I want to fit a round two carat stone. Is that 8mm?

A: A 2 carat stone is 8.2mm. You probably can fit it in this setting. You may need to open the prongs just a tad more to get it to fit though.

Q: Hello! I was just wondering why these are not recommended for Swarovski stones? Thank you!

A: Swarovski crystals are fragile and can not handle the pressure when you snap them in and can crack or break. These are best used with Cubic Zirconia stones.
