Q: how do you use these tweezers and can they be in the heat ?

A: When you squeeze them together and insert a ring and release they will hold a ring. Yes, they do stand up to heat.

Q: What metal are these tweezers made of and what makes them proposition 65?

A: They are steel tweezers that may have traces of nickel in them. Since they may have other metals in them we do by California law have to include the Prop 65 warning.
