Beautiful, as pictured -- a little different from 8/0

This 11/0 mix includes not only beads with blue, green, and purple tones, but also a few gold or copper-colored ones, as shown in the photo. This makes for a slightly more variegated appearance on the string than the 8/0 mix (which also has gold or copper beads but, in the bags I received, a small number of them.) This is a beautiful mix, dark and bright at the same time.

Q: I was hoping to get your help. I don’t know how the size of the hex seed beads work. I don’t want to return anything. I really don’t know. I have 8/0 & that’s to big & size 11/0 to small. I don’t know if some are different brands. I know I’m showing my ignorance, but I just really don’t know LOL. If you can help me I would really appreciate it?

A: For the most part 8/0 seed beads will be 2.5mm in diameter, 9/0 seed beads will be 2.2mm in diameter, 10/0 seed beads will be 2.0mm and 11/0 will be 1.8mm in diameter. There are several different brands of seed beads on the market, with Japanese and Czech seed beads being the most precise with their measurements.
