Handmade intricate pieces of Jewelry are created by indigenous Mayan women who have been using Beads to create Jewelry for over 30 years. The work is done by approximately 200 women living in six villages, including the Quiche, Tzutujil and the Cachiquel Indians of the Central Highlands of Guatemala. These Bead Weavings help make the Mayan women more self-sufficient and provides income for their families. All work is made from Czech Glass Seed Beads, and any crystals or semi-precious stones come from a variety of different countries. All of these exclusive designs are made entirely by hand and come in very exciting and vibrant color combinations.
