They are not soldered. Generally Surgical Stainless Steel chain isn't soldered due to it's strength and doesn't require soldering.

A:
Use 4mm to 6mm jump rings with this chain for attaching clasps or charms. A 6mm to 10mm lobster clasp also works well for finishing necklaces and bracelets made with this chain.
