Essential for removing link pins from watch bands in order to shorten the band. Made of Keltec II, glass-filled nylon, this unit includes two extra spacers to accommodate most watch band sizes, plus three push pins. The push pins are hardened tool steel. Please note: extra pins are located in the bottom of remover. Slide or pry open the bottom to retrieve.

How to use link pin remover.

1. Unscrew the pin remover until you are able to lay the bracelet flat upon the table area of the device. For thin bracelets, use one of the handy spacers so bracelet pins aligns with metal pin of the pin remover.

(It is essential that the pin in the watch band be perfectly aligned with the pin of the link remover. If you turn the plunger of the ling remover and fell much resistance, check the alignment. Pins are hard metal and can be broken if misaligned.)

2. Screw the plunger in slowly to push the pin out on the other side. After the pin protrudes about 1/8” unscrew the plunger (taking care not to bend the metal pin) before removing the watch from the pin remover. With a pair of pliers, remove the bracelet pin. Made in Switzerland. Intended for adult use only. Always wear eye protection.

This item works great! Hardest part is lining up the pin to push the link rod out. Mine is due to vision issue.

Works great

Worked really well, the pin is a lot sturdier than another similar device I bought. The adapters make it easy to work with thin women’s watch bracelets.
