These Lobster Clasps in Surgical Stainless Steel are easy to operate, and very reliable. The simple design features the same high quality as our standard Lobster Clasps. The Jump Ring is 2mm.

Surgical Stainless Steel is a hypo-allergenic metal which is perfect for anyone who suffers from allergies to nickel. Although all Surgical Stainless Steel contains nickel in trace amounts, the nickel is stabilized with the Stainless Steel and is considered to be safe for anyone who may have nickel allergies. Our products are made from high grade #316 or #430 Surgical Stainless Steel and meet the Mayo Clinic recommendations as well as the EU Nickel Directive. Surgical Stainless Steel is a great metal for jewelry making as it never tarnishes.

Should Latch On To 14ga

Perfect size for large gauge jump rings! Good for large bracelets or necklaces!

Larger sized clasp

Clasp is a little larger than I would like, but the smaller size was out of stock when I needed them. Well made and sturdy. Haven't had any issues with them breaking. Wish they came in a swivel style.

Great Clasp!

Have not used this clasp yet, but I like the smaller version so much that I do not anticipate a problem with this one. It is quite a bit bigger than i usually use, but I have some large, Heavy beads that I think will be better with a heavier clasp.
