Are these designed to attach closed junprings, or ooen jump rings? Also, what size jump rings are best to use with the hook and eye? Thank you

It is better to use open jump rings than to try an manipulate the metal on the clasp. 4-5mm jump rings are about a good size to use with this clasp.
