Wonderful

I have used Griffin waxed cotton cord from the time I was asked by a customer if I had necklaces made from something other than leather. I found waxed cotton cord to be the best alternative and Griffin Cotton Cord to be the best I could find. the cord has a beautiful finish and great consistency in quality from the first cord off to the last cord off the roll.

Great quality

Love this cord! Very good to work with, nice and tight, does not fray much, and just FEELS high quality in your hands. And it's stored in a spool-shape, so you don't have to worry about annoying creases that come with craft store cord that's wrapped around a cardboard insert.

Q: How do you use waxed cotton in jewelry making?

A: You would use it in the same way that you would use most other cord necklaces. Just add an end cap or connector to the end and a clasp.

A: It can be used on lightweight outdoor windchimes. It is preferred that it doesn't get direct sunlight.

Q: Is this cord colorfast? Has anyone tested it whether it leaves a mark when rubbed against white fabric, when the cord is dry and when the cord is wet? Is it necessary to fix the color before using?

A: It hasn't been tested however, we do believe that it is colorfast.
