Q: What is the difference between 19 and 49 strands ? Which diameter is bigger ? What recommended size for heavy necklaces ? Thanks

A: The difference in 19 and 49 strands is how many cables are used to make the wire. The more cables there are the more flexible it will be. 49 strand is more flexible than 19 strand. For heavier necklaces I would use the .019" wire.
