Lovely Chain, Bit Pricey

Let me start out by saying I love this chain, even if it is a pain to split off yourself (magnifiers help)! It's dainty and very nicely done. However, a few months after purchasing, I found that there are very similar sterling silver cable chains from other supply companies that range from 0.7mm to 1.5mm (so still dainty) at the same gauge or lower for much cheaper per foot, or some even cheaper 16" finished chains than one foot of this unfinished chain. So, this is a fantastic chain, but be advised that there are less expensive alternatives.

Q: Does this chain tarnish or change color at all?

A: It is sterling silver and can tarnish like most sterling silver does but can easily be cleaned with a cloth or silver cleaner. You can also use anti tarnish tabs or bags to store your silver to prevent tarnish.
