Very pleased with these ear wires!

I like the simplicity of this design and how close to the ear lobe it hangs. I also like that it has a kind of clasp.

Failed

Tried to use this earing clasp design for the first time to secure a set of amber earrings better than the studs which had broken. It looked promising at first, but when the day was over, the earing was gone. Apparently, it had come un clasped and slipped off. That's not what I expected from this design.

A: The wire is too small and it is not stamped.
