Absolutely Wonderful

This lamp and magnifier have helped me so much. I prefer smaller beads for most projects. With this, it is so much easier to find the smaller holes and make knots using silk thread.

Q: two questions: for examining jewelry, it 5x sufficient? I thought loupes are 10-30%, not sure. IF 5% is fine for finding hallmarks, etc on small items, I would be interested in this model. Wondering if free shipping could apply to this purchase. thanks

A: This is an excellent magnifier for examining jewelry and similar items. Eye Loupes are typically 10x-20x, but that is for working extremely close to the object 2-3inches away. If you purchase just a few dollars more in product you will receive free shipping in the lower 48 states.
