Fire Polishing: After a Glass Bead is created, the bead is once again subjected to heat and flame. This intense heat melts the surface of the bead, smoothing the rough edges and flat surface areas. As the bead cools, it retains the "soft" finish, which makes for a beautiful, uniformly shaped bead, featuring great depth and clarity.

Poor color no depth

These were reviewed as being similar in color to Swarovski crystals. They are not. They don’t seem Fire polished at all , they are quite dull. They will be fine in a pair of earrings but are not special. I ordered several different colors and they are all the same. Flat color. Would not order again.
