Fire Polishing: After a Glass Bead is created, the bead is once again subjected to heat and flame. This intense heat melts the surface of the bead, smoothing the rough edges and flat surface areas. As the bead cools, it retains the "soft" finish, which makes for a beautiful, uniformly shaped bead, featuring great depth and clarity.

These beads are wonderful, great quality too. I used them to make a multi-strand necklace and bracelet to match. They turned our so nice! Each strand is a different sequence of beads so they' are great pieces of jewelry!

A lovely blue

As pretty as this color is in a smaller bead, the 8mm is even more so. A great blue that goes with just about anything.
