Fire Polishing: After a Glass Bead is created, the bead is once again subjected to heat and flame. This intense heat melts the surface of the bead, smoothing the rough edges and flat surface areas. As the bead cools, it retains the "soft" finish, which makes for a beautiful, uniformly shaped bead, featuring great depth and clarity.

Very pretty color

Much better in person! I've been using the 8mm FP in place of pearls in some patterns, and they are a great substitution. An even better look.
