Fire Polishing: After a Glass Bead is created, the bead is once again subjected to heat and flame. This intense heat melts the surface of the bead, smoothing the rough edges and flat surface areas. As the bead cools, it retains the "soft" finish, which makes for a beautiful, uniformly shaped bead, featuring great depth and clarity.

Interesting color, but dull
Very interesting color. Good for something off beat. But they don’t look fire polished at all, no shine, very dull.

Not gray!
The picture looks gray on my laptop. It is, in fact, a blue with a toned down hue. Because it's toned down, it becomes more of a neutral that will go with all of the other colors...like a pair of jeans. Love it!!!

These are very beautiful beads, great quality too. When the light hits them, they show blue. Otherwise they look gray.
