Fire Polishing: After a Glass Bead is created, the bead is once again subjected to heat and flame. This intense heat melts the surface of the bead, smoothing the rough edges and flat surface areas. As the bead cools, it retains the "soft" finish, which makes for a beautiful, uniformly shaped bead, featuring great depth and clarity.

Beautiful!
First, I love the Czech Fire Polished Rounds! Montana blue is simply gorgeous in all my southwest designs. It's a deep, woodsy blue and blends well with silver or copper wire. It catches the light in a most beautiful way.

Darker than originally thought
Although this bead is darker than I thought, I can certainly use it. As with all Fire Polish beads you can't go wrong with any color. Glad I purchased.

Bluer than the pic
These are not gray. They are a toned down blue. Lovely!
