Fire Polishing: After a Glass Bead is created, the bead is once again subjected to heat and flame. This intense heat melts the surface of the bead, smoothing the rough edges and flat surface areas. As the bead cools, it retains the "soft" finish, which makes for a beautiful, uniformly shaped bead, featuring great depth and clarity.

Great color

This is a great color bead, but can't be used with black/brown thread because the darker color thread takes away from the beauty of the bead. You can't go wrong with white thread.
