Fire Polishing: After a Glass Bead is created, the bead is once again subjected to heat and flame. This intense heat melts the surface of the bead, smoothing the rough edges and flat surface areas. As the bead cools, it retains the "soft" finish, which makes for a beautiful, uniformly shaped bead, featuring great depth and clarity.

Great addition to my stash

I use Czech fire polished beads for wrap bracelets - on and off the loom. This color green will compliment my many other beads of this type. Great for earrings, too.
