Q: How is this item used?

A: This item is great for covering up crimps. Once you have completed the crimping on your piece you would slip this over the crimp and use pliers to gently close it until both ends are touching and creates a ball or bead. Now the crimp is covered and it just looks like a bead instead of having your crimp showing.
