Gold peels off of arm
They look great, but once you close the arm down to meet the clam, the gold peels off the arm every time. I won’t buy these again.

Will these clam shells work with size 4-8 cord?

The hole in the clam shell is 1mm so any stringing material that is less than 1mm thick will work with these.
