Q: What is a "burning hook" used for?

A: It can be used with beads that are half drilled to make a dangle. Or if you have a pendant that just has a small hole at the top you can glue this in so that it will hang.

Q: Will this work for a very small hole in a pearl, or would you suggest something else?

A: It will work if the hole size in the pearl is 0.64mm or larger.

Q: what happened to the ones I used to buy that had threads on the bottom? could glue in or screw in?

A: The silver screw eye has been discontinued. The closest we have in silver is our item number SC303.
