Seems to hold the center items onto necklaces but seems too stiff and cheap looking.

Q: Will this bail accommodate an eight mm thick piece of glass?

A: Unfortunately not. The overall measurement of this finding is 10mm high by 4.25 wide so the width of the piece of glass you are using (8mm) would be double that of the width of this particular bail.

Q: Is this bail 10mm once attached or 10mm total length, tip to tip? That reduces attached length to 5mm and reduced the opening.
