I am still deciding about keeping this item. I like the idea of it and it is would definitely be helpful to make special wire shapes. However, I have scratched my knuckles/hands several times trying to use it. On line it looks smooth like fine polished aluminum, when in actuality it has quite a rough surface all over. Also, in places where the edges meet the bottom, it has a couple pieces as sharp as a razor. Also, the pegs were all loose in the bottom of the bag and there was nowhere in the instructions to identify the use of each. The "patterns" are terrible. On line videos show the instructor laying a piece of paper (pattern) -shaped exactly the size of the top of the jig - being lain over the jig and where holes in jig match dots on the paper. The idea supposedly is to punch thru the design on the paper and insert your pegs. This is impossible, as the samples patterns are on paper that is tiny - samples less that 1 1/2"x1 1/2"" and the sample shape is totally blurred. Looks like the patterns were xeroxed on a printer almost out of ink. I tried multiple times and no way could I match the dots on the tiny pattern to the holes in the jig. I have thought about having my husband use his metal polisher to smooth out the jig, but it almost looks like it just has metallic paint on a rough slab of metal, so it could only add to an already existing problem. I still need him to give me his opinion. For over $20, I surely did not expect something that would cut my hands if I wasn't careful. It is such a shame to ruin something by not finishing it properly.

This is a great jig for anyone wanting to create uniform jewelry. Easy to use

I was having such a hard time making my loops and circles the same size and evenly spaced. Then I discovered this amazing little toy! It is a game changer for making beautiful and uniform wire wrapping and shapes. Everyone should have one!
