AquiFlux is the best flux available. It is a self-pickling flux, meaning it actually cleans the metal of small contaminants and oils, allowing solder to flow more smoothly and adhere more solidly. AquiFlux is for hard soldering from temperatures up to 1600*, and is perfect for Gold, Silver, and Platinum. Plus, it's water based formula makes for easy cleanup.

A: This flux is meant to be used with hard soldering and not soft soldering.

Q: Can Aquiflux be used in conjunction with Hard Soldering Paste, so the item doesn't need to be Pickled in a bath? Thank you. John

A: It can be. The only downside is that your work can sometimes get a bit more firescale on it than working with "regular" flux (because of how thin the material is when it's applied).

Q: I use silver solder that is 56 % will this flux work? Been using a sta-brute but it drys out after setting. It is a paste.

A: Yes, providing that you are doing hard soldering and not soft soldering.
