These do a great job for weighing gold, and pouring gold into a narrow mouthed vial (or a larger jar, which is even more easy). I use two trays: one to hold gold, and an empty one to place onto the scale for tare weight. Once the scale is zeroed out, I pour the gold onto the scale to measure the net weight of the gold. Then I take the full tray off the scale and pour the gold into the vial using one of the corners. A simpler, more reliable process now. I used to have to use a piece of flimsy paper, which sometimes would result in spilled gold. No more messes, these are essential tools I'll always use.

Trays were small but they are cute and will serve its purpose with small beads.

The edges are a little sharp, kinda wish i got plastic but that's a personal preference.

I was glad to see these on sale. It prompted me to order more, which I've been meaning to do for ages. They are invaluable when it comes to picking up seed beads!

Oh, I am not happy here with this item. I have some that are coated with felt and they work so so much better. Great price but I will not be ordering again. Sorry
