The number 4 silk from Griffin is my favorite. I used to use #2 but it wasn't as strong. The #4 is stronger and thicker but not to thick. I am able to easily knot this silk and make beautiful pearl bracelets and necklaces.

Excellent for knotting pearls and #4 cord was the perfect thickness for the pearls that I needed to restring.

I don’t think so many people know this for prayer beads . I do as a hobby and use the most expensive and rare amber beads, both griffin silk and nylon are the best for this purposes. Use 0.4 or 0.6 and they look and feel absolutely gorgeous. They all come with an attached needle and that makes them incredibly easy to use. I order many and each of them has a great quality. Made in German. You can think that they are little bit expensive but honestly worth every penny! Also jewelrysupply do fast shipping and they are very easy to communicate with!
