This number four was too thick for pearls I was trying to thread. However, it did work on stone beads that said they had a 1mm bead hole.

I don’t think so many people know this for prayer beads . I do as a hobby and use the most expensive and rare amber beads, both griffin silk and nylon are the best for this purposes. Use 0.4 or 0.6 and they look and feel absolutely gorgeous. They all come with an attached needle and that makes them incredibly easy to use. I order many and each of them has a great quality. Made in German. You can think that they are little bit expensive but honestly worth every penny! Also jewelrysupply do fast shipping and they are very easy to communicate with!

Easy to knot silk beading string

I have tried different size beading silk and the #4 is my favorite. It is big enough to knot easily between pearls and yet strong enough for normal wear and tear. I like size 6 as well but 4 is the best for me.
