Best brand of knotting cord

I love this brand as it makes it so easy to string, the knots hold well, but can be undone if necessary and the cord it resists fraying even though it is not waxed like others. Plus, it has a nice drape if used by itself.

A: Clam shells and crimp beads work well with the nylon cord.

Q: Would this be a good choice for 4mm seed beads with a 1.25mm diameter hole? Also if you doubled the thread would it then be too thick?
