Q: I am not sure what No. nylon bead cord to purchase. I would like to use the nylon cord to string 4mm or 6mm beads. However, the various no. on the cords are confusing. Can you recommend what numbers to use to string the 4 mm or 6 mm beads?

A: I would probably go with about a #6 bead cord for 4 and 6mm beads.
