If you are a Weather Person... Oh, excuse me. I meant to say, if you are a Meteorologist, you face a very difficult and challenging task of providing valuable and critically important information on the ever changing weather patterns and cataclysmic temperature variations which can dramatically affect our daily lives.

To help insure accuracy, there are hundreds of satellites floating around in space, gathering weather data, and then streaming that data via microwave to the National Weather Service, where it is broken down and studied by the very best and brightest scientists in the field. The data is then compared directly with historical data compiled from previous years, simulation weather programs are designed and run, and the results are beamed out to news services in every city and every state.

Weather P... Meteorologists, at these news agencies receive and interpret the data, and make revisions based on years of education and experience. Then, and only then, when they are absolutely certain of the results, they finally impart that information to us, so that we can all plan our weekends in advance. In my case, that would be a three day camping trip enjoying the great outdoors under sunny skies.

So, with all that technology, and all that data, and all that education, can someone please explain why I've been stuck inside this stupid tent, while the rain has continued to pour down for three days in a row?
