Our digital caliper also comes with a special slip-on holder, making it great for measuring gemstones, watch crystals, etc. Made of rustproof stainless steel, the 9-1/4" digital caliper opens to a maximum of 150mm or 6". With the touch of a button, you can convert measurements from millimeters to inches and back. The accuracy of this fine caliper from 0 to 150mm is a resolution of 0.01mm and from 0 to 6" the resolution is 0.0005". The measuring system is a non-contact linear CAP with LCD display and an auto-off system to save the battery. Caliper will measure inside, outside or depth and features a fine adjustment thumb wheel and zero set button. Special plate allows you to stop fumbling around with small parts. Just lay the part to be measured on the holder and gently close the jaws - it's simple, easy and accurate. Watchmakers, jewelers and people of all trades will love this feature.
