Hill Tribe Silver
For almost a century, the hill tribes of Thailand have been creating unique designs with their silversmithing techniques. All beads and pendants are created from fine silver ingots and formed by hammering, engraving and soldering with hand tools into detailed works of art. Because each piece is worked by hand, no two pieces of Hill Tribe silver will be exact. Often each article of Hill Tribe silver will have a geometric design, or have a plant or animal picture engraved into it. These intricate designs symbolize the Hill Tribes' connection to the natural world around them. |
